  1. A:  I went to college in 1967 and I graduated in 1971. 
  2. And that period may have been the period where 
  3. his influence was at its peak; it was certainly 
  4. incredibly influential on my thinking about life in 
  5. general. So I‚Äôve carried the seeds of McLuhan, 
  6. McLuhanism, McLuhan thinking throughout my 
  7. entire adult life. Wired   is about media today, is 
  8. about how we live in the media environment, how 
  9. the media environment affects our lives. If there is 
  10. a prophet of new media‚Äîin the sense of new 
  11. beyond books‚Äîradio, television, networking, 
  12. interactivity, it has to be that man. There is no
